Booth staff at the Osaka-Kansai Expo will be wearing uniforms made from ovoveil, designed by the fashion brand “divka.”
Starting in August 2025, the uniforms worn at Pharma Foods Co., Ltd.’s booth will feature a design by divka, a fashion brand that also exhibits at the Paris Collection and New York Collection, and booth staff will wear uniforms made from ovoveil, a new fiber material made from eggshell membrane.

Founded in 2011. At the root of the collection is the desire to communicate with people who have encountered divka’s work through her work, transcending time and place.
In 2012, she was selected as one of the 10 finalists at the 4th Edition of the MANGO FASHION AWARD, and exhibited and participated in a show in Barcelona, Spain. In the same year, she was one of 10 designers selected from 10 Asian countries to hold a show in Bangkok, Thailand.
From the 2013 S/S collection, they have exhibited at TRANOI/Paris. In 2012, they were selected as a supporting designer in the professional category of the TOKYO New Designer Fashion Grand Prix and received the Tokyo Governor’s Award. In 2014, they were invited to the ORIGIN passion & beliefs exhibition held in Vicenza, Italy, as one of the 100 most innovative brands selected by NOT JUST A LABEL from around the world. From the 2016 SS, they have held runway shows at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo. Currently, they are holding exhibitions in Paris, New York, and Shanghai in addition to Tokyo. In 2022, they will open a street-front store in Musashi-Koyama, Tokyo.

Divka has always pursued original silhouettes and textures with the philosophy of creating new and beautiful things. On the other hand, Ovoveil utilizes an innovative material derived from eggshell membrane, and we were very attracted to the challenge of fusing this cutting-edge technology with Divka fashion. Furthermore, Divka has always been proactive in incorporating sustainable fabrics, so we were very interested in Ovoveil’s new material derived from eggshell membrane.
I think ovoveil is not just an “environmentally friendly material,” but an innovative material with the power to create new value. I look forward to future developments, and would be delighted if we had the opportunity to use it in a divka collection.
