SHIBUYA FASHION WEEK

Shibuya Fashion Week was first held in March 2014. Since then, it has been held every spring and autumn, with the 23rd edition taking place this spring. Major commercial facilities around Shibuya Station have been the core of the event, collaborating with various partners to showcase Shibuya’s unique culture beyond the boundaries of these facilities.

A highlight of Shibuya Fashion Week, the “SHIBUYA RUNWAY,” has seen runway shows held at unique venues in Shibuya, energizing the fashion-forward city. In the spring of 2021, the first-ever runway show was held at the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, and in the spring of 2022, it was held at one of Shibuya’s ever-evolving development sites with an online broadcast.

In the autumn of 2022, after three years, a street runway show was held again on Shibuya’s Bunkamura-dori, further highlighting Shibuya’s diverse fashion. Continuing to evolve, Shibuya Fashion Week will begin a new stage in spring 2025.
